ESSENTIALS OF COLOUREDSTONES |

1. Course objective
To give the student background knowledge and understanding of the most popular 9 or 18 coloured gem stones, their properties, common simulants and synthetics.
2. Course outline
Each gem stone topic comprises the following sections:
- General Information
- Legend and Lore
- History
- Location
- Physical properties
- Durability
- Synthetics and Simulants
3. Course design
The course is either of 1 day or 2 day duration (9 or 18 gem stones) from 8.00am- 4.00pm. The student will receive a manual that MUST be studied prior to attending the course. There will be a final evaluation of the students understanding of the topics covered.

Johannesburg:
- 1 Day (9 gemstones) R2075 inc VAT
- 2 Days (18 gemstones) R3990 inc VAT
Other Venues:
- 1 Day (9 gemstones) *R2850 inc VAT
- 2 Days (18 gemstones) *R5073 inc VAT
*Plus courier costs of course material where applicable.
A discount for group training of more than 5 students may be negotiated.
5. Certificate
After successfully completing the final evaluation, the student will receive a certificate of completion from E.G.L.
